The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Suzanne Collins

If you are about to read this post and have not read the one before it I would advise you to go back and read the first Hunger Games post. : )
In this book Katniss and Peeta come back from the capitol after previously winning the Hunger Games. Comeing back to District 12 is a complete change. Peeta and Katniss now have to pretend that they are "star-crossed lovers" because after the games Peeta realizes that Katniss was basically using him to get to the finish line, even though Peeta really loves her. Gale, one of Katnisses friends from before the Games, has completely changed after seeing Katniss and Peeta together on the live broadcast of the Hunger Games, and won't really talk to Katniss any more. When preparing for the Victory Tour that Peeta, Katniss, and Haymitch are obligated to take, President Snow pays a special visit to Katniss at her new home in the Victors Village. Snow warns her that he is watching her and that if she tries any reebelious stunts he will punish her.
Just before leaving Katniss pulls Haymitch aside for a strategy meeting. Before she can go any further with a strategy Haymitch tells her that if she wants to remain alive, she and Peeta better keep up their "love affair". Throughout the Victory Tour, Katniss and Peeta have to show their fake love to each of the 12 districts. They are forced to face the sad parents of the tributes who had been killed in the Hunger Games. Soon Peeta and Katniss come to face the next nation wide event. The Quarter Quell. Where winners of the past games are picked to play in another Hunger Games. Tributes are chosen from the past winners so automatically Katniss is forced to play again because she is the only female winner. But when Haymitch is chosen Peeta automatically volunteers so he and Katniss could go into the Games together. To find out what happens Katniss and Peeta in the Quarter Quell, read this amazing and intreging book. In November 22, 2013 the movie will also be comeing out!
